Just moved up here for school and am looking for a bunch of fun places to go...not so much the touristy things, been there done that...I mean, great restaurants, coffee shops, parks...shopping...nightlife...music clubs...etc.

San Francisco has endless, i mean ENDLESS amounts of fun things to do!! Awesome bars, excellent restaurants, clubs, stores...everything. It just depends what you are into. There is a wide variety. The neighborhood matters a lot too. When I first moved here for school, I used Yelp a lot. It's great. Just type categories in like, "greek restaurant" and read some reviews. It works great for everything form restaurants to gyms.
Just to help out a bit, here are my favorites
Restaurant: foreign cinema-beautiful outdoor seating, and delicious food, also has a bar attached to it
kokkari-amazing greek food
Osha-delicious thai food
mangarosa-brazilian/italian food, soooo good
Bars: John Collins, elbo room, wish, shine
make sure to check out yelp! It's the best.
